Dog Shampoo Bar
Oatmeal, Milk & Honey- Dog Shampoo
We originally started making this soap for our 14 year old Maltese Shitzu’s, Tinkerbell & Periwinkle. 🐶🐶
Peri would always get itchy from using any other store bought dog shampoo that we tried/used on him. Tink starting going bald about 3 years before she passed and we needed something that wouldn’t irritate her skin. So about 3.5 years ago now we decide to make our own soap for them so we knew exactly what went into the soap bars. 🐾 We also use this soap bar on our 14 month old chocolate labrador.
We began our research on butters & oils that are safe to use on dogs and their sensitive skin/coats. We decided on using olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable palm oil, castor oil, oat milk, Manuka Honey & colloidal oatmeal. NO fragrance and NO colours. 🐕
We also put a rope on our dog soaps so you can place around your wrist to make it abit easier to wash those wiggly pups. It also makes it easy to hang the soap bar over your tap handle so you can dry out soap bar in between washes/uses. 🧼
YES this is perfectly safe for human use too :)
